Country or Modern

I've recently started working and designing on my own, I thought of starting up with kitchens. Why so? because like every other girl, i love cooking and need my space to be just about right.

So the measurements for the site are taken from an actual site, i'm hoping one of my design will impress the site owner ;)

So there are two designs which I have worked on, the first being a country style and the second with a modern feel.

Country

Modern Chic

 The country style kitchen features cabinetry with wood finish based on a lighter tone such as Pine, Maple, Oak etc, which is topped up with a marble counter top and the back-splash is done with mosaic tiles in the shades of brown. The top cabinetry are painted white for a different effect.

Then again, you can never be satisfied with just one design, a little tweaks here and there makes the room look beautiful and functioning.! 

The modern style kitchen features Melamine finished cabinetry with black granite counter top and a border of granite increasing up-to 1 feet for back-splash combined with white tiles. The top cabinetry have doors with veneer finish to make the focal point of the room and with white wood flooring, the room looks balanced and functioning.

The restaurant is a beach facing multi-cuisine fine dine restaurant. Solace is a place that takes you away from the commotion and chaos of everyday life. 

A place that puts your mind to peace by providing an environment that is comforting, relaxing and pleasant. a fine dine restaurant which offers a variety of cuisines.

Since it is a fine dine restaurant, the decor plays a role equivalent to the food; hence the design is made keeping in mind the feel, the luxuries and the facilities of fine dining. It is a blend of style and utility.
